I have forgotten my password, can I reset it?
In the login view, you have the option (Forgotten password) to reset the password. After doing so, an e-mail will be automatically generated and sent to you. Please follow the instructions in the e-mail.
How does the organisation selection work?
If you have more than one organisation, you will receive a list of available organisations after a successful registration. If you are assigned to only one organisation, this view will be skipped and you will immediately be taken to the inspection overview.
How to change an organisation can be found under point 3.3.
Can I switch between organisations?
If you belong to more than one organisation, you have the option of switching organisations after you have successfully logged in by clicking on the company logo (in the inspection overview) or via the settings.
What is the purpose of the inspection overview and what functions does it have?
All available inspections are displayed in the inspection overview. These can be sorted individually with a filter. You can switch between inspections and edit them. Among other things, you can see the name of the inspection, the inspection status, the year and the offline/online status (of the respective inspection). You can create damage/images in the selected inspection and have the option to switch between components, plans, damage and images.
What is the component overview and what functions does it have?
The component view shows a structured overview of the components of the asset of the selected inspection. You can directly create damage/images in the selected component. In the list or via the photo button in the lower right area.
What is the purpose of the plan overview and what functions does it have?
The plan overview lists all plans that are assigned to an inspection.

Localised damage is displayed on a plan.
What is the purpose of the damage overview and what functions does it have?
In the damage overview you can see all (the last 30) damages assigned to an inspection. You can directly view & add damages, as well as locate damages.
What is the picture overview for and what functions does it have?
In the image overview, you can see all (the last 30) images that are assigned to an inspection. You can directly view & add damages, as well as locate damages.
How can I take a damage or a picture?
Damages/pictures can be taken via the list view in Damages/Pictures or via the photo button in the lower right area.
How can I add markers to a picture?
After taking a photo, confirm the use of the photo taken, then you have the option to annotate the image before saving it.
How can I locate damages?
A claim can be located directly when filling in the claim details. To do this, simply click on the button "Locate damage on plan" below the form fields.
- Take a photo and create the damage
- Enter damage details if desired
- Select "Locate damage on plan
- Search for the desired position and locate the damage there by pressing and holding (Tap).
Can a damage be edited?
Only damages created in offline mode can be edited subsequently, provided it has not already been uploaded.
How can I add measures to a damage?
You have the possibility to add one or more measures to an image or damage while creating a damage.
Can I edit damage information afterwards?
No, in the current version no information can be changed for existing claims.
How can I change the language?
The language is always applied natively. Depending on which language is set on the device, the respective language (DE, EN) is used in the STRUCINSPECT Mobile Data Capturing App.
iOS: The device language is used. You have the option of being forwarded to the language settings of the device via the settings.
Android: The language can be changed under Settings.
How can I activate/deactivate the dark mode?
For iOS and Android, activate the dark mode in the settings under Display, please close the app and restart it.
